Bringing Healthy Homes to Life: Cristina’s Journey from Adversity to Advocacy
Cristina is on a mission to bring your healthy home from dream to reality. As Founder and Principal of research-backed consultancy Conscious Healthy Homes, LLC (“CHH”), she leads with empathy rooted in experience.
After her own family fell dangerously ill due to hidden toxic mold in their home, Cristina leveraged trauma into purpose. Now, her diverse expertise equips clients to avoid similar hardships. Blending technical certifications as a Passive House Builder and Building Biology Advocate with a varied professional background, Cristina takes an accessible yet data-driven approach.
Having walked the healthy home path herself, Cristina knows firsthand how overwhelming the road can feel. That’s why her practice grounds cutting-edge methodology into the practical steps families need today. She educates and encourages, breaking down the complex so that constructing an ideal living environment seems achievable.
When not empowering clients, Cristina serves as the Vice President and on the board of directors for Malachi’s Message, a non-profit dedicated to spreading awareness, and providing financial assistance and education to those impacted by mold. This work grounds her forever to her “why” even as CHH expands across the US.
Homeowners count on Cristina not just for industry qualifications, but for intuitive care built over the years. Her tenacity, forged through her own family’s story, drives her to realize healthy spaces tailored to each client’s unique needs, priorities, and risk tolerance.
