Voyage Magazine

Every neighborhood in Houston has its own vibe, style, culture and history, but what consistently amazes us is not what differentiates the various neighborhoods but rather what they all have in common.  From the Fourth Ward to Sugar Land (and everywhere in between) we’ve been blown away by how many creative and talented people call Houston home.  In this interview, Conscious Healthy Home shares its inspiring story.

The Ride Along - Episode 66

Cristina joined Matt Brading and Brad Lowry on The Ride Along to discuss how home inspectors can evolve from identifying structural issues to recognizing environmental health risks. Home inspectors see more homes than almost anyone in the industry—positioning them perfectly to spot red flags like moisture intrusion, poor ventilation, and other conditions that affect long-term health. We already test for radon, so why not train inspectors to identify other common-sense health hazards? She shared how Conscious Healthy Home is equipping real estate professionals with building science principles to advocate not just for home buyers, but for their health.

Our conversation covered motivation, manifestation, mentorship, and of course, mold—exploring how personal adversity can fuel professional transformation and help others navigate their own healthy home journeys.
