What it is: A professional starting point to help you identify your goals, translate your priorities into building science language, and begin productive conversations with your builder and architect. It's not construction documents, an engineering evaluation, a code compliance assessment, or legal advice — it's the documents you bring to those professionals.
This package has five parts:

Working With This Package
An explanation in hand that details how to actually use the documents: attach them to subcontractor scopes of work, use them to get apples-to-apples bids, keep them as a working reference during construction to catch anything that doesn't match the standard.

Client Statement of Intent (Project North Star)
A written statement, in your own words, defining what "healthy home" means for your family specifically, since there's no industry-standard definition.
Covers water management, air management, vapor management, thermal comfort, material handling, and balanced ventilation.
This is the single organizing statement for your project, the filter: every material selection, system decision, and trade-off gets evaluated against it. When decisions get difficult, it's the tiebreaker.

Project Goals
The translation of your wants, needs, and nice-to-haves into the technical, concrete goals your build team can understand. This is how you avoid those nightmare stories of “builds gone bad”, where expectations go unsaid and unmet.

Suggested Specifications
A customized, climate-zone-specific report, translating your goals into building science standards. Where something is professional judgment rather than a codified standard, it's flagged as such, and everything is meant to be confirmed by your licensed professionals before it goes into a contract.
